I've been sick today. I slept until 2:47pm and I did not believe the clock when I eventually awoke. I got myself out of bed (purely out of guilt). But, I think it would have been just fine if I had lingered.
I have spent what is left of the day, working on a painting, sniffling, coughing, and feeling a tad more than just under the weather. My Love is sleepy and so it turns out we haven't been up for phone conversing.
It would be lovely to escape to some little bed and breakfast on a lakeside and let myself get well with fresh air, a novel, and quiet.
