Something New

I've been at home here at FCC. I've loved working her the past two years. It's safe, predictable, and comfortable. Leaving it behind is sad. It's been so good to me.

Next week, I'll be training my replacement, Allison Fode. I recommended her for the position, they interviewed her, and hired her. It helps to know I'll be leaving them with someone capable, intelligent, and enjoyable.

Strange to think of only working at one place. For the past several years, I've always had multiple jobs. Hours divided between anywhere from one to four places. This will be so different. One place... everyday. I guess it will begin to feel like home the way FCC did. I hope so. I am one who needs routine. I need that during my day.
