swept away

sometimes i miss sleep-in saturdays. but sleep-in sundays remain. today, i got up when i woke up, which is good. i did not linger in bed until the day was wasted away. that was last sunday and it was not a good feeling.

there were to dos left over from january, so i took care of them. i went out to the patio and cleared away brush and fallen fruit, which took me a good hour. then, i showered the dust and dirt away and put some crescent rolls in the oven because i felt i deserved something special after all that work. some, i filled with cheese, and others with a tad of butter. de-light-ful.
