I'm for Game People

I don't understand people who do not enjoy card and board games. I really don't. And, it actually makes me sad and a little bit frustrated when I hear of someone who doesn't like them. They are missing out on one of the most wonderful ways to spend time with friends. And that's all I have to say.Card and board games rock (even when Jeremy and Marc kill you off in Family Business [when you deserved it]).

Board games combine two things I loathe: 1) rules, and 2) sitting still.

Oh, and losing. That's three things, sorry.

I agree! Board / card games are much more fun than sitting around watching TV. Yeah for Dutch Blitz & Settlers.

Poor Stephen, deprived of a certain joy and freedom that comes through rules and sitting relatively still (although the mind is free to soar through both creative imagination and logic). Board and card games are wonderful, and all the more so when they fail to rely heavily upon chance/fate. Most games of this sort must depend upon this curious phenomenon to some extent, yet to the degree that they do not, the players are enabled to improve their abilities and their chances of enjoyment.
