Green Tea Sipping

This morning has been of sipping Green Tea (and organic at that) and perusing lovely places like this and this. I am amazed and think of words such as "wonder" and "lofty" and "tranquil" and "breathless" and "refreshed" and "alive."

(Of course this has been in between editing, formatting, writing, printing, folding, answering telephones, and such secretarial duties -- But I did some printing on some special parchment paper and its delicate texture blended quite well with my mood of sipping tea and appreciating the artistic genius of others.)

In special news, my new baby cousin was born yesterday at 1:01pm. He has been given the name Steven Masakazu and is a lovely 7 lbs., 15 oz. and 21 inches long. He came a day prior to his scheduled c-section and according to my mother, is quite healthy. I haven't been able to see him yet as the Maternity Ward's visiting hours end at 8:00pm (the same time I get off of work). I will have to wait to meet him on Saturday when they bring him home. His older brother, Tyler - age almost-2, is under my mother's care for the next few days and has no clue his revolves-around-me world is about to be shaken. Well- let him enjoy his last few days of being the only child, he'll have the rest of his life to get used to being a big brother.

It is nearly 1 o'clock in the afternoon and I'm wishing this day was over so I could go home and clean. Yes, I mean it. Clean. My desk has become rather cluttered and I've had my eye on it all week (but without time to correct it). And, I need to start preparing for when Jenny moves out. There is a possibility that Clare may share my room for a month or two while looking for another place to live, but as that remains uncertain, I will continue to allow myself the pleasure of anxiously awaiting the day when I will have my own room.

Cheerio and pip-pip!
